We LOVE Thursdays!

We start the day with swimming....

Then head back to school for cricket...

Do some creative writing (Today we were learning how similes can add interest to our writing)... 

Then electives (here is the R8 electives creating code to progamme computers).

What a great day!

    Room 8's first swimming lesson!

Room 8 had their first swimming  lesson and it turned out to be BRILLIANT!!! 

 Here's  two buddies having fun together in the pool.Look at the smiles on their faces don't they look so cute together?

 WOW!!! Check out the two friends. Look at their faces! Don't they just look adorable together. They look like they are having a lot of fun.

WOW!!! Look at the waves splashing. We had to keep or legs straight and together.

Here we are trying to hold our breath under water.Guess the top 3 people who stayed down the longest? Of  course it had to be

Swimming - lesson 2.

On Thursday we learnt how to glide, blow bubbles,and breath underneath the clear water.                  We also got split into 3 groups - group 1, group 2, and group 3, before we got into the water.

We were also learning to do freestyle and breathe while we are swimming.

We had a great time at swimming today!
